How a dog has accomplished what society has failed to achieve for years!

2017-10-21 18.22.52

This is Bella. She is an old dog with a remarkable story. In fact, she has achieved, what many people have failed to achieve! Let me tell you her story:

Bella is an outside – dog and besides that, a good guard dog. One day, her owners went out and left her chained up. This is when it happened… No one knows, how it happened…

When the owners came back to the house, Bella wouldn’t jump up to greet them, like she normally would. In fact, she just sat there not being able to move. Even when they let her off the chain, she couldn’t move. The reason for this is, that she popped her back out and got paralyzed in her back legs. No one knows why. It must have been a rapid movement and the chain holding her back.

Either way, the odds didn’t look good for Bella and the vets advised to put her down. But neither the owners, nor Bella herself just wanted to give up. So, they put her in a pool to train her legs day by day and Bella fought and fought and fought, until one day, she was able to move her legs again. The unbelievable had happened.

Now, she is fully able to walk and run again. It might look a bit funny, but that doesn’t bother the dog at all. She is the happiest dog, I’ve ever seen. You can see her smiling and if you talk to her, she will talk back. An extraordinary character, that many humans should all take as a role model.

“It’s too hard” or “it’s impossible” are common excuses, but examples like the story of Bella prove that absolutely NOTHING is impossible!! Buy that plane ticket, that takes you into the unknown. Let go of that person, that brings you down. Start learning, what you always wanted to learn. It’s only a small step, leading to the biggest step towards actual “life”. We were not meant to stay in our bubbles. Take chances, get out of your bubble and break free!

Why don’t we all go out there and start living? Why don’t we all find our purpose to live? Working every single day until we die is not living! Where are your dreams? Where are the changes? Where is the willpower? Where is life?? Never stop believing in yourself! Never stop dreaming! Start living!

You can do anything you want if you really want it! There is always a way! 💕

P.S.: A quick update on my life: While I was invited to a birthday party and met up with a friend, that I met a year ago in Australia, I realised, how small the world actually is. It also gave me faith, that I actually might meet all those lovely, that I’ve met in Australia and New Zealand, somewhere else in the world again. The world is small! :))

But again, a massive “thank you” to my girl Esmee and her family, for sending me this awesome early Christmas present!! It made me extremely happy!! 😊😙

Why I chose to travel

Hey guys!!

I know, this is not my usual blog day, but I still felt the urge to share this with you and let you know what I think..  Maybe this will make you think, like it made me think…

This is an article I found on Facebook. It includes a letter of a cancer – diagnosed young man with a message to the world… Have a read through it first…

Letter From A Dying 24-Year-Old

Most of us go through our days on autopilot, not really living, but merely existing. We have so much outwardly, but feel so empty and lost on the inside. We allow our minds to keep us up late at night, mulling over things that don’t really matter in the end, such as bills, money, what others think of us, etc.

Why do we do this to ourselves?

Of course, none of us truly knows the answers and what happens to us after this life, and we’ve all been thrown into the same boat. How we navigate this life, however, and the choices we make along the way, define our character and existence. Our experiences and choices shape us, but many of us spend our lives locked into commitments chasing money and power and stability instead of digging deep within us.

We count down the hours on the clock until we can go home for the day, rest, and do it all again the next day. We run around all chasing something, and wake up one day wondering why we even chased it. It may not matter to you now what you do with each day of your life, but maybe this advice from a dying 24-year-old will give you a wake up call.

He posted his story on a Reddit thread, and ever since, it’s gone viral. We hope you will take some wisdom away from this young man, and realize that we only have a short time on this planet. We may as well make the most of it, and love and live as authentically as we possibly can before our time is up.

Read on for the letter, and share it far and wide if you feel inclined to do so.

“I am only 24 years old, yet I have actually already chosen my last tie. It’s the one that I will wear on my funeral a few months from now. It may not match my suit, but I think it’s perfect for the occasion.

The cancer diagnosis came too late to give me at least a tenuous hope for a long life, but I realized that the most important thing about death is to ensure that you leave this world a little better than it was before you existed with your contributions . The way I’ve lived my life so far, my existence or more precisely the loss of it, will not matter because I have lived without doing anything impactful.

Before, there were so many things that occupied my mind. When I learned how much time I had left, however, it became clear which things are really important. So, I am writing to you for a selfish reason. I want to give meaning to my life by sharing with you what I have realized:

– Don’t waste your time on work that you don’t enjoy. It is obvious that you cannot succeed in something that you don’t like. Patience, passion, and dedication come easily only when you love what you do.

– It’s stupid to be afraid of others’ opinions. Fear weakens and paralyzes you. If you let it, it can grow worse and worse every day until there is nothing left of you, but a shell of yourself. Listen to your inner voice and go with it. Some people may call you crazy, but some may even think you‘re a legend.

– Take control of your life Take full responsibility for the things that happen to you. Limit bad habits and try to lead a healthier life. Find a sport that makes you happy. Most of all, don’t procrastinate. Let your life be shaped by decisions you made, not by the ones you didn’t.

– Appreciate the people around you. Your friends and relatives will always be an infinite source of strength and love. That is why you shouldn’t take them for granted.

It is difficult for me to fully express my feelings about the importance of these simple realizations, but I hope that you will listen to someone who has experienced how valuable time is.

I’m not upset because I understand that the last days of my life have become meaningful. I only regret that I will not be able to see a lot of cool stuff that should happen soon like the creation of AI, or Elon Musk’s next awesome project. I also hope that the war in Syria and Ukraine will end soon.

We care so much about the health and integrity of our body that until death, we don’t notice that the body is nothing more than a box – a parcel for delivering our personality, thoughts, beliefs and intentions to this world. If there is nothing in this box that can change the world, then it doesn’t matter if it disappears. I believe that we all have potential, but it also takes a lot of courage to realize it.

You can float through a life created by circumstances, missing day after day, hour after hour. Or, you can fight for what you believe in and write the great story of your life. I hope you will make the right choice.

Leave a mark in this world. Have a meaningful life, whatever definition it has for you. Go towards it. The place we are leaving is a beautiful playground, where everything is possible. Yet, we are not here forever. Our life is a short spark in this beautiful little planet that flies with incredible speed to the endless darkness of the unknown universe. So, enjoy your time here with passion. Make it interesting. Make it count!

Thank you!

You know… I agree with this guy 100%!! And he deserves all my respect for making this public!! I don’t wanna blame him in any way, we’re all the same! And I’m  not seeking for attention right now either!! We all just live our lives day by day, doing the same thing, going to the same 9-5 job, doing the same chores on the weekend, only living for the day to go past as soon as possible only for it to repeat itself in the exact same way the next day..

It’s always “one day..”. The dreams are there, but you always find an excuse to push it into the background again. “I need to work” or “I don’t have money” or “I need to pass this exam” etc..  “One day I want to…”..  Yes, these things are important, but there is prove that you can go far without following the crowd!! You know, “one day” we’re all gonna die, “one day” you might get sick… you can’t influence these factors. It’s gonna happen.. what you can influence is that dream in your head!! That “one day I wanna go and see the world” etc.. We all gotta wake up!! Live your dream before it’s too late!! Do what you always wanted! Reach for the stars!! NOTHING is impossible!! You just gotta fight for it!! Wake up and get out of your comfort zone!!!

People will probably laugh at me now, thinking about why I have the right to tell people to wake up!! Well, this is the story behind my travels and I’m extremely uncomfortable making this public,  but it might inspire people..

4 years ago, my mom passed away from cancer. She always had this big dream right in front of her eyes: “I wanna see Australia! I wanna live my dream!”. Nothing ever seemed like she would actually go to Australia, until one day she decided to wake up and start saving for this big trip!! She always put the need of her kids first, but on this one day, she decided to put herself first!! She saved for days, months, years and she could have financed her travels at some point until one day, it hit us all.. she got diagnosed with cancer..  I don’t wanna give any details, but 6 months later she passed away. And she never went on that plane..

This made me wake up!!! It effected me extremely.. I mentally changed. Turned into an emotional mess, not being able to cope.. Again, no further details.. BUT I woke up!! I did my research and booked the flight!! This was always OUR dream!! My mom and me, we were always dreaming about this!! I didn’t have much money at all! In fact, I was basically broke the day I arrived in Australia, BUT I managed to pull myself through and live my dream, OUR dream! With my mom right in my heart, always protecting me..

This is the main reason for my travels that barely anyone knows about…

YOU CAN DO IT! If you really want something, you’ll find a way, if you don’t want it, you’ll find an excuse.

So everyone, please, stop talking about it and start doing it!! Life is too unpredictable! Make yourself a bucket list and work on it! Live your life, before it’s too late. Make the difference…

Think about it ..
